Slimline Birthday - Apple Gift Card

I got this cool Apple gift card yesterday and decided to make a card incorporating it for the MFT Slimline challenge. The gift card is interesting because it's larger and thinner than a traditional gift card, but thankfully it still fits on a slimline card! I liked the fun blocky pattern on the apple and designed the rest of my card to go along with it.

I started by spraying a piece of watercolor paper with various ink sprays for a sort of grungy look. Then I die cut squares and rectangles from Blueprints 27 and glued them onto the background for a blocky pattern. I stamped and die cut sentiments from Birthday Speech Bubbles using similar colors to the ones on the gift card and adhered them to the card using foam squares.
