Teacher Appreciation card

This card started out as a way for me to try a Copic + Polychromos combination based on Amy Shulke's Christmas Angel tutorial on YouTube. Amy uses Prismacolor Indigo to darken the green dress on the girl and I wanted to see if my Polychromos Indanthrene Blue would work as a substitute. I'm pleased with the result!

I colored the rest of the girl using Debbie Olson's card for reference. Since the sweater was green, I decided to make the apple green as well. I ended up with a card that isn't in colors I would naturally choose, but I am still happy with the look.

The background is a favorite of mine, MFT Romantic Script. It has text from Pride and Prejudice (Darcy's first proposal) in a Jane Austen handwriting font. I love it for my vintage projects but it's also perfect for a teacher card!
