MFT Space Explorer Slimline

I made this slimline card with the MFT Space Explorer stamp and die set. Amazingly, the galaxy background came together super quickly - in about 2 minutes! All I did was wet the watercolor paper with a large 2" wash brush, then quickly squeeze color from 3 different Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers.

Once the ink down, I moved it around slightly with a watercolor brush, but mainly the colors blended on their own. The ink was so intense that I actually grabbed another piece of watercolor paper and smooshed it on top to soak up some excess.

For the moon, I used Tim Holtz's "smoosh and dry" layering technique, then die cut it into a circle. The rest of the images were colored with Copics and the sentiment is heat embossed in white.
